Bill Claspell
Location: Pueblo West, CO, USA
Bill is a life-long resident of Colorado and has been chasing the state's big and small game since he was
8 years old. He first started hunting with archery equipment 15 years ago and has been an avid bowhunter
ever since. Bill has taken four of the "Colorado Big 8" with his archery gear, to include elk, mule deer,
whitetail deer, and pronghorn, and is looking forward to completing the remaining four.
Bill is an outdoors columnist with the Pueblo West View newspaper and owns the website, www.scoutoutdoors.net
which is geared toward providing hunting and fishing information for Southern Colorado outdoors enthusiasts.
He spends nearly 100 days per year in the outdoors, either hunting or fishing, and involves his family in most
of his outdoors expeditions.
Bill's favorite thing about archery is that it is a year 'round sport. He enjoys shooting in local
tournaments throughout the summer and works to get kids and other adults involved in the sport. He
has mentored several new archers and bowhunters and takes a lot of pride in introducing new people
to the sport.
